Mission Statement for The Samaritan First Responders Society (SFRS)
The Samaritan First Responders Society (SFRS) is dedicated to honoring, and empowering those who risk their lives to serve their communities. We recognize and celebrate the bravery, selflessness, and dedication of first responders, Samaritans, Veterans, and animal rescuers through our nationally televised awards program.
The SFRS provides direct financial aid and support to these individuals and their families in times of crisis or disaster, ensuring they have the resources they need to recover and thrive. Additionally, we establish local and international Crisis & Support Teams (CSTs and ICSTs) to provide auxiliary emergency response and support in the aftermath of disasters. These teams are committed to neutrality in matters of politics and religion and are supervised by experienced first responders, veterans, or emergency management professionals and SFRS Volunteers.
